I know where a Warn NIB set is for sale for $1K. The guy said it's been sitting in a garage on a shelf for a few years.
PM me if interested & I'll get his contact info.

Why do you want them? Just curious, You don't here many people breaking just a unit bearing on a D30. If you want manual Hubs just go with a D44 up front.

laziness of not wanting an axle swap, its not the hubs im worried about breaking, its the r&p if i do almost alloys and a carrier locker and c frame braces etc..

You don't really gain any strength with those, they mfg. recommended a max tire size of 33s. Your unit bearings will be just as strong and the only way to strengthen the ring and pinion is an axle swap. The "almost alloys" are a bad idea in my opinion. When you weld them on you are heating the shaft and bearing caps weakening them plus if you break a joint how are you going to swap it out with the caps welded to the shafts. Get some full circle clips and it'd be just as strong.

I had the ems offroad free spin kit. They used to make it with the 5x4.5 pattern. Not sure if they still do. I know they make the 5x5.5. It's around $100. I had to open up the center on my wheel a little more and use small spline drive lug nuts with the 4.5"

Think you forgot a zero. They start at a grand and go up from there.

Royal, was it worth it? I'm just thinking on the fact with lockouts if you break a front shaft or something you can drive it home with hubs unlocked.

If you have the cash to blow I guess but there is so much more you can do with $1000. The cost of spare shafts will go up since it's not a typical 30 stub shaft. I didn't notice any difference in gas mileage. The no wear and tear on the tc and front ds shaft are nice (a lot less vibration). And it's also nice if you have a high end u joint that you don't really wanna put the street miles on. I myself would just build a waggy axle.
