Video How to Convert Closed to Open Cooling

I don't take any credit for this. For those who haven't seen the video and anyone thinking about changing their renix closed cooling system to the open cooling system watch these three videos. I didn't want to attempt this mod until i watched the video.

I just got a newer radiator that included a radiator cap. From there I got 2 new heater core hoses, the parts store sells it in bulk.

Only other task is setting up an over flow bottle.

Very simple and straight forward.

i know its an easy project to do, i just like to see a video of how someone else did it before i try and attempt. Its always nice to see it done beforehand

and in his last video of the comments he gives the list of parts you need for the swap. They make a radiator now that has the neck and sensor for the renix.

Moroso has always had an "in line" radiator cap.

My Renix radiator has no sensors in it. I forget why.

I'm literally neck deep in this very project right now.

oh, my renix has the temp sensor in it for my fan. im probably going to run a toggle switch for it anyway. Now if only i could fine a pink n pull that has a cherokee. i meant the neck and sensor both. for awhile it was only the in line radiator cap and no sensor.

That's why. My AC is gone and that fan is already run to a toggle.

I hear some folks get a non renix t stat housing, I think they have a spot for a temp sensor.
