Default Vac Ball Relocation

In my quest to relocate the vac ball on my 88 I ran into a couple of things. Well actually three. Could someone help me identify these things. First the aqua colored thing? The blue vac line? Then the two wires have been spliced. And the green one is not in good shape. Anyone? I don't even think the vac ball will fit under the coolant reservoir. Is the vac ball on the newer years smaller?

Should I maintain the length on the vac hoses? or can I shorten them once I determine a location for the vac ball.

Ok thanks on the check valve. What about the aqua looking thing? It appears to be full of dust. Should I clean it somehow. Im thinking this vac ball is not gonna fit under coolant res. anyone know if newer ones are smaller

Found a pink vac hose thats disconnected. It goes into firewall next to heater/ac control vac line. Anyone? Im thinking I can make this vac ball fit now. With minimal effort. Just wanna have everything fixed before i start on vac ball itself

Is that a can type? Mine is the big pill shaped canister. Ive about decided to put it behind crossmember and up under radiator shroud.
