So i got my rough counrty 4.5 kit in and love it, I have been wheeling like every day and developed this clunk, Crawled under the jeep and found that the upper controle arms are loose in there brackets. The bushings are all blown out and dryrotted, they move side to side. I can get 4 new bushing for around $20 shipped, new OEM arms for $42 shipped or go with adjustables for around $165.

Whats the benfit of a adjustable upper if my lowwers are just regular rought country?

i would say upgrade to the adj uca's. If you ever decide to go bigger the geometry will get bad with stock length uppers. I had a 4.5 rusty's upfront and added a 2" spacer with fixed lowers and stock uppers. At that point I started having issues with my track bar tie rod ends bending and breaking. I'm assuming its because of that bad geometry. It just ends up being more money if you go the cheap way IMO.
