Looking to make some upgrades to my 1996 jeep inline 6 HO 4.0.
Could you guys clue me in on who makes the best after market parts?
Starting with distributor cap plugs and wires, then on to fuel injectors.

I beg to differ.... i did my engine before anything else. You can have a lifted jeep but if you cant power it then it does ya no good.

I did the Accel cap/roter with MSD ignition box, Blaster Coil, MSD spark plug wires, new plugs gapped to .55, Ev6 injectors, bored throttle body, and 2.5" exhaust.

Jeep now runs like a champ (i run 33's with 3.07's and am still faster than a stocker) and sounds good too.

engine work first is money well spent!

Well what i have now is all the stock parts, im probably not going for much of a lift. I want to replace everything with higher quality parts, in the hopes of reducing the mileage and extending the life of the vehicle for now. Cap rotor plugs wires o2 sensors new tires so on so forth. Already installed new water pump alternator (was a *****!) rear brakes and serpentine belt. This is my primary vehicle and I am planning on restoring it from bumper to bumper with the final move being paint and undercoat. Took forever to find a 96 HO that was not rotted out body wise in my area. 173k miles runs like a top no leaks.
