Man, Idk what to tell you...

Brake systems are pretty straight forward. It usually always leads back to air in the lines.

Maybe I'm not understanding. By "Different pedal heights" do you mean that you push it one time and it's one height, push it again right behind it and it's a different height? Randomly up and down.

Or do you mean that each time you push it it get's higher?

I run my late model booster with a WJ master and stock prop valve.

I have no clue what would make an intermittent problem with a brake system.

Notice any lost fluid?

I agree. It's quite strange.

I've never changed the spring. The booster upgrade itself made more than enough difference for me.

This is a shot in the dark, but, if revs help perhaps the issue is vacuum (I mean engine vacuum) related? Just a guess.

That sounds like a vacuum leak or low vacuum condition to the brake booster.

So, 9 out of 10 times the pedal height is normal and 1 out of 10 times the pedal goes to the floor like a bad master cylinder? No hiss when this happens and it's more common at lower engine RPMs?

You could have a bad vacuum check valve on the booster, just a shot in the dark.
