so after planning a trip for a month to go pick up a front 1985 FSJ waggy D44, i finally went down today to get it. i called twice before hand to confirm that it was a D44 and both times they said yes. when i finally get done there they try to tell me that a friggin D30 is the same damn thing
after talkin to the guy he says that he has one off a J-truck that is a D44 and i ended up taking that with me (230 mile trip there, i wasnt guna leave empty handed) so i know that it is 4" wider than a waggy D44, but its sprung under and the driver side spring perch looks like its cast in with the center diff. how hard is it to to cut those perches off and does anyone know there is a company that makes a truss for it with coil perches built in?
