Default Un-Even Lift Question

Hey guy's I'm sure this has been covered somewhere before.. But here's my unique situation. Last year I installed a Zone 2" Add-a-leaf lift kit.. I've read that the rear springs usually "settle" however mine never did... So I currently have a 1-1/2" height difference in the rear.. I know it's purely cosmetic but I don't care for the way it looks... I was thinking of just getting 3" or 3-1/2" Coils to level out the Jeep was also going to get an adjustable track bar.. Would this be the best way to go?

Thanks

Yes. Start with 3in coils and take it from there. You will be ok. If its still not level enough you could figure out the rest with the correct size spacer up front or a slightly taller shackle in the rear depending on what end (if any) ends up higher.

Ok Yea get some coils then.

I'd look at 3" coils with a close to stock spring rate. That way you don't end up with more lift in the front and having to add more height for the rear to match.

Looks like I can get the 3" coils and track bar from Rusty's at a reasonable price. They offer two types the Regular and HD coil springs... I'm thinking the regular would be fine for me as I don't have a winch... However I do have a JCR front bumper that weighs about 43 pounds?

Also Do I need to worry about getting upgraded Upper and lower control arms?

Put some junk in the back? Do some towing or hauling and it'll settle out quickly.

I've hauled plenty if stuff had it loaded with about 300 pounds of wood pellets for a period of time.. I think my mistake was replacing the rear leafs with OEM replacements, then adding the leaf. I shoulda just got a 3" lift with leaf springs and been done with it.

What's up with the rustys offroad stuff?? I read good and bad about it. Why not their track bar?

Falls apart. Literally lol.

Ah yes brand new OE springs + AAL. Yep that'll stay up there for a long time. Leaf it up then!

Little more help guys.. I've noticed a few things since I posted last. Just yesterday I hear a strange grown from the front left suspension area.. And I've noticed now the left front spring is sagging more that the right front.. by 1/2" So my choices are 3" Rusty's Springs or 3-1/2" RE springs... and as for the Track bar since I've been advised to stay away from Rusty's brand I'm looking at the RE Brand as well...

Given my situation should I go 3" Rusty's Springs and the RE Adjustable track bar??

Yeah that's a good choice. Don't hear much complaining about Rusty's coils. RE 3.5" coils however are stiffer than a Viagra-muling cadaver and gave me more like 4.25" on my '99 with the stock bumper lol

Make sure the track bar is a double shear track bar. I have IRO and its fine. I am assuming RE is either better or at least as good (as long as its double shear). There are better ones still with bigger bolts that you have to drill the mounts for but I doubt you will need that.
