Ultimate engine and Trans mounts

Hello my name is Justin, I am new too this forum but have visited many times over the last few years, their is much use full information here. Recently I came into contact with Dave Bost, dbmetalworx on here. Dave set me up with a set of his ultimate engine and trans mounts. Finally im done replacing broken mount after broken mount, and done worrying if the motor is going too torque over and take out the fan shroud or worse.

the poly mount fully surrounds the through bolt, not allowing for any unwanted movement of the engine,

these mounts are braced on three sides wich is far more superior too other after markets mounts available.

picture for attention. broken engine mount this one was less than a month old when removed.

side by side comparison of a stock over the counter trans mount next too daves ultimate tranny mount, as you can see the are identical in size and shape/ demensions.

this is the trans mount installed in the factory location, no special modification required

I also would like too add every mount from dbmetalworx came with all the necessary hardware. and since changing too the these mounts I have had zero issues relating too engine movement. I have taken the xj out several times since installing these and have had zero problems, and I am very pleased with the performance and simplicity of these mounts. finally I never have too worry about breaking mounts again! thanks Dave.

sweet. making those would be cake, I'm gonna have to slap some together when the time comes

Glad they're working out for you Justin. Mine are like new still, after 4 years of abuse. We offer other products for XJ, ZJ, & WJs too.

Glad they hold up but the welds are below par... I'll stick my brown dog mounts!

I'm sure they work, but I agree they aren't a "pretty" mount like my BD's... Little too much undercut for my taste.

Is that undercut, or just rough edges from cutting the pieces with a torch? Looking at the non-welded edges of the motor mounts and the pics of the transmission mount, it looks like all the edges are jagged from freehand torch cuts that were never ground down.

And these cost as much as Brown Dog and Ironman mounts, which are both a lot prettier.

the rough edges is caused by the welds. The mounts just aren't cleanly or professionally made.

This thread appears to be a poor attempt at advertising for someone who isn't a vendor here.

I think maybe it backfired. I doubt many people will look at the pics in this thread and immediately go place an order.

This thread is creepy. It's giving me the shills I mean chills

Are these some sort of a welding school/ training project?

I don't know what to think about this thread... but yeah...
1) Poly mounts on a unibody
2) Welds

my poly brown dogs aren't that bad. With that being said, I wish I had the rubber mounts

I have rubber on the xj and poly on the tj... it's not like it'd kill you or anything else for that matter, but, as you say, given the choice...

Please tell me there is a metal sleeve inside that mount where the bolt goes through, otherwise they definitely won't last all that long.

Aside from that, they look barely better than I could do and I suck at welding.

After looking at their other stuff, I'll find another vendor that makes a higher quality product.
