Default Treadwright guarddog treadlife

So I'm looking into getting some treadwright guard dogs and was wondering if anyone has run them and there opinions on them. I am especially curious about the treadlife on them. Any opinions would be helpful, needing some new tires soon! Thanks

They have two flaws. Weight and sizes available. Other than that, they are a good tire- especially for the price.

If you get the kedge grip, they grip amazingly well on ice/some types of rocks. But do wear faster. (got about 40,000 out of mine if I remember correctly They got pretty bald at that point) Without it, they last a bit longer and some of my friends/family have gotten 50,000+ out of them. It is important to rotate them properly (every 4000 or so). It really extends their life. They perform decently in everything.

I ran mine at low psi no problem. Great tire for the price.

I got, 50,000 out of mine and there was still tread left they were 265/75r16 D rated
I'm considering going back to a set, I would describe them. As an aggressive AT over an MT, the tread patter is tighter than the old Goodyear MTR. They are loud I would say the hum is the same as a swamper but it never bothered me.
I don't think you will be disappointed and honestly they offfer sizes from a 30-37 so I don't know what size people are looking for that they don't offer. Yes the 33x12.50r15 is not an option but most manufactures are going away from the 15 inch rim.

Yea I'm looking at the 31x10.5 as that's what i run now. I'm glad to hear the good reviews. My current tires are nexen roadian mts and they maybe lasted 25000 miles, roughly 2 years on them, but I also had some bad ball joints that jacked up my tires. If you are getting upwards of 50k out of them then it seems like a good investment
