Transfer Case Leaks After SYE
Alright, so I installed an Advance Adapters SYE almost 3 weeks ago, and its been leaking where the transfer case bolts up to the transmission. I tried retightening the bolts today, but it still leaks. Does anybody have an idea of how I might fix this? Thanks!

there is a seal that goes around the input shaft of the tcase. this seal is mounted in the tail of the trans. if its damaged it will leak. is it your actual t case leaking or is it your trans leaking? the space between the tcase and trans is not sealed and is open and has a drain on the bottom. if either the trans or tcase is leaking there it will drain out the same hole

That area is dry. There is a seal at the output shaft of the trans that got messed up when the t-case went in. That seal keeps the area between the trans/t-case dry.

I think its the t-case itself, I checked the tranny fluid and its at the normal level.
