Default Transfer Case clocking

I have been looking into clocking my transfer case using the IRO clocking drill jig. It seems pretty simple but I was wondering if anyone has had any experience making a new crossmember or what all has to be done to to the crossmember.....any advice, pictures or personal experience would be very helpful.

Atmos on here used their jig. It is pretty straight forward.

Nothing has to be done to your crossmember. Build some frame mounts out of some plate and then build a big flat skid to cover your transmission all the way back to the transfer case.

Super easy to do. The IRO jig is a piece of cake. My tcase is flush with the bottom of my frame rail and I only had to hammer my floor a little bit. The shifter linkage came loose after 2 trips. Not sure if the clocking has anything to do with that but everything worked great at first. I need further inspection. Loving the clearance tho

Stock shifter linkage is junk anyway. Boostwerks kit or make your own and it should eliminate ever having to think about it again.

Thanks fellas. Atmos...do you have any type of rubber bushing like there is stock? I don't mind having to hammer my floor a little bit. Also, did you ever make a t-case skid plate?

Like a transmission mount? I run the stock rubber mount. I didn't make a skid yet since I planned on throwing the Xmember away in favor of a belly pan
