What kind of lift do you have if any or do you plan on running? if you're going to go over 3-3.5 you might consider an sye while its still out. Thats mu opinion, I'm sure someone with some more experience could chime in.

new to the abbreviations not sure what sye is but im sure when u tell me im gonna feel stupid lol. anyway no i have no lift its stock and is staying stock. i just think the 242 with the full time option would be better for long trips in winter being able to use 4wd but at the same time i dont know if it will change my offroading at all cause it goes like a tank of course lol

Sye stands for slip yolk eliminator

It's a direct bolt in and even the drive shafts will be the same. Only difference is the shift pattern so if you have the bezel you can swap that out on the console. Shifter will be fine but you may have to adjust it a little.

thank you marc and scot. yeah i have the shifter bezel as well to go in the console. if its direct bolt on then looks like it only take bout hour and a half to take the tc out and put the 242 in
