Tranny swap 2wd '01- 4wd '90
So i have the option to get a working 4x4 tranny with about a 100k miles for FREE. This would be good for my conversion. only issue is it is out of a 90 with a 21 spline count. the 21 spline count isnt a big deal to me. The only thing that i would be concerned about is a connector correct? I wouldnt have to worry about having any kind of mating issues from the tranny to the engine, right?
Now random question will i have to use a shifter from a first gen or can i use my second gen shifter?
