Track bar frame end bolt sheared! Help me joe rogan
Ok so heres my short story! Did the junkyard lift at about 4 1/2 in and got DW (no suprise) so i ordered me one of those fancy IRO adjustable track bars! Go to take the old one out and was not able to break the nut loose (though almost bursting my own in the process). So i decided to take my trusting angle grinder to it. Well long story short i have the "Track bar" removed but all that remains is the bolt in the frameside track bar mount. oh and to top it all off after all this the D@^& nut came loose. So ive tried using a C-Clamp and socket to get it out no luck, so i'm thinking of drilling through it. Anythoughts as this is my DD and need it runnin asap! Thanks from a SAD PANDA

Shouldn't have done that! The shank the bolt is on is shaped like a cone. It will never come off unless that bolt is off.
If I was in this situation I'd unbolt the mount from the frame for room and visibility and start cutting that bolt in half.

well the nut eventually came loose in the mount, but not before i had cut the track bar off the mount. I put the nut on just enough to put the c clamp on and have a socket on the bottom half for the bolt to fall into. But it looks just like the picture that Free posted
