Default Tow hook kit question

I was planning on getting this kit as a temporary problem solver in case I get stuck on a trail.

http://www.rustysoffroad.com/vehicle...ok-kit-xj.html

On all the posts on how to install these I saw that most people took off their bumper to put these on, I was wondering if there was a way to install these without taking my bumper off? This would be my first time installing something on my own and I don't want to take my bumper and find out all my bolts are broken and I can't put my bumper back on.

You'll have to take your bumper off. Its only like 6 bolts, and they need to come out anyway to install that. It's not a tough thing to do.

If you have any pull a part or junk yards near you i would check them out to find some factory tow hooks before shelling out what rusty's wants. I see these all the time when im at the local yards.

not only that, but you get the added benefit of knowing what to do on your ride after a visit to pick-a-part....you get to practice on a donor car with out consequence

I went with a front receiver. A bit more cost and stronger as it ties both sides of frame into one pulling point. I did not want the more costly or added wieght of a "Rock Crawler" type bumper. Installed with out removing bumper or drilling holes.
