They are basically boat sides for the bolt on crowd

Does one need rockers for these?

We do bolt into the rockers with these. Although, I don't see why someone couldn't weld these in.

Brimy

I understand the "Bolt on crowd" not everyone has the skills and means for serious fab.
Nice looking product.
A little too much ground clearence loss for my taste, how much gap between the rocker pinch weld, and the slider plate, looks like at least 1".
I dont care for self tappers either, your option to weld is better I think.

Cool.

They are 1" below the bottom of the floor, right up against the pinch seam.

I have the JCR Stage 3 sliders and like them so far, but since my rig is becoming more of a dedicated wheeler I am looking into making boatsides. cutting the rockers out all the way to the lower door hinges, trimming the doors, and welding in 2x6 with a flat 1/4'' plate connecting to the chassis rail

But here are my JCR stage 3 sliders...

I really like my rigidco sliders on my Xj the skids on the bottom are flush with the lowest point on the pinch rail so I have no loss of clearance under the pinch Seams
