Im going with the falken wildpeak ats in size 33x12.50 with a 15 inch rim. What should be the width of the rim?

8 or 10. Ten will keep the tread flatter and maybe wear more evenly, but I run 8s because the rim is more protected from rocks and will supposedly hold the beads better at low psi

8" wide, 4" backspacing is what I have, the only regret is that I chose not to trim, and the tires grab the flare and fenders from time to time, but I just need to bumpstop better..
IMO...10" wide rims makes the jeep look like a tamale trolly if you aren't running bigger than a 35x13.50 tire..

I had 33x12.50 A/Ts on 15x10 wheels and liked the look of a wide wheel, but then I traded for a set of TJ Ravine wheels (15x8) on 33x12.50 M/Ts. I had to add 2'' wheel spacers to get the backspacing right to not rub, but it looks way better. In a few months though I will be replacing the worn out 33s with 35x12.50 Pitbull rockers and also get a set of 15x9 Trailready beadlocks
