Default which tire set up?

so im planning on lifting my jeep 3" this summer but i am having troubles deciding on tires... i know i want 31s but i wanna jeep my stock wheels i saw some 30x9.5s but im not sure if 9.5 will be to wide and i'd like 31's not 30's any input or ideas? and what are the widest tires i can run on my stock wheels?

It's advanced because it involves modifying suspension and getting larger than stock tires...

The rule of thumb is that you can have a tire 4" wider than the rim so 7" rim= up to a 11" tire
And guys have had 35's on stock rims

Generally a 31" tire will be 10.5" wide. You should be able to run either the 31's or the 30's without a problem on stock wheels. Since you have a mild lift and its probably your dd, look into a good all terrain. BFG gets my vote, but there are tons of all terrains for relatively cheap in that size.

31X9.50 is pretty slim u will have no prob with those or 10.50s on stockies

31x10.50 is perfect for the stock 15 x7 wheel. If you air down if will hold the bead better than a 15x8 wheel. Also bfg ats are a great tire all around. They last forever ride smooth. Plus have 3 ply side wall
