Spacers go above the spring.
For install, my preference is a bay with a lift (I have friends) but a jack and 4 stands in the driveway works well too. Basic hand tools (air is good if you have it), lots of Pb blaster, a breaker bar, and patience. An extra set of hands is very nice as well. If you have any mechanical abilities, a 3" plus shackles and spacers will be an easy job to do.

Well ill be using a hobby shop on the AFB so a lift and tools will be very available, my buddy is heading the project with me and he has experience bagging trucks so hopefully all goes well. What is pb blaster? The install starts Saturday so I don't have weeks to spray bolts..

The week I ordered it each night I went and hit things with PB Blaster like the forum said and not one stuck or broken bolt. Also have a good helper, 2 would be ideal. If the instructions say 2 hours expect 4, plan for the worst and when things go well enjoy.
