current trail rig is 89xj with d30 front. i am swapping lift and 5sp tranny all that jazz over to my 99. anyway hate this disconect axle the only thing it is good for is the spiders are welded and i installed a cable accuator so its a poor mans locker. but is a shaft and u joint eater with 35s and 456s.

i have the stock d30 low pinion in 99 which is the new rig. also picked up a waggy 44 but have since decided not to swap that.

my question. i want to run the 89 housing and center . the 99 inner shafts and the waggy 44 outers and i gain manual hubs . basiclly everything waggy from balljoints out. in theroy it should work .

if not this then i need to buy lunch box locker ditch welded spidys and run the 89 high pinnion housing with 99 shafts and 99 outers brakes ect.

the waggy outers are 30 spline and brakes are a touch bigger which could only help .

give me feed back . i feel putting a strong 30 with bolt in parts is problly a better route and if i am going to make brackets for front axle swap it should be for 1028 cucv axles. dont waste time with 44 only benifit is the housing touch stronger and 3 more spline outers. a 30 or 60 the way to go.
