Ok, so I cannot get my stock pulley off my alternator.. in fact the stupid nut stripped on me while trying to get it off. I read the ZJ alternator pulled has an extra groove and is bigger. By using the XJ pulley it gives its output sooner at a lower RPM. I have read that you can use the ZJ pulley and put the belt towards the back of the pulley leaving the front groove open. Im just wondering is it really that much bigger than stock ( I havent picked up the alternator yet) and will it be a noticeable diffrence in keeping up compared to the other.
BTW I am putting in a 136A ZJ alternator in my 96.

So just a little bit more info I found
I am buying the Advance Auto P/N 13387
when looking at specs it says the pulley diameter is 57MM on the 136A unit
looking up a stock replacement 90A for what should go on my 96 it says its 57MM
when looking up the 90A unit that goes on the 98 ZJ it says its 65MM
so according to AA the reman 136 has the same size pulley as my stock 90? could this be possible?
i guess im just going to order it, check it out and go from there. if anything I see a 1/4" difference it could be.
