thinking about going bigger
right now im running the 6.5" RC LA kit with 2" spacers and add a leafs giving me 8.5" in front and about 9" in the rear,33" tires but will go 35's,stock gears soon to be upgraded, stock steering soon to be upgraded to the IRO heavy duty steering. id like to go bigger but im not sure what id be getting myself into. i can get the 8" springs and another add a leaf to give me about 10.5" but what im concerned about is how everything is going to work when the kit called for 6.5" ,drive angles, fabrication and such if someone could chime in and let me know id really appreciate it very much..also this is my dd

Why the heck would you want to go bigger? There is no reason I can imagine unless you love rolling over around corners or off camber wheeling situations.

how does yours run with just the extra lift, i just installed my 6.5rc la lift and my 35s rub so i was thinking of lifting it a little. My idea was the 2"spacers i already have and getting there shackle relocation. Did u get the sye and drive shaft with it? wondering how everything fits with the 2 extra, like all the shafts, shocks and brake lines.

I think the biggest issue is like what JCK said, adjusting you caster while keeping the pinion angle correct.
If you cant clear 35's on 6.5" lift then your doing something wrong

on mine i rub in the front with 35s well turning and i have bushwackers, im thinking my bumper and winch is bringing it down a little. Did you have to move out the hiem joints when you went higher or just leave it at what they were set a with the 6.5?

If you plan on it being a trailer queen anyway, I'd take out your spacer and add a leafs, and trim your fenders up for as much flex as possible. When you look at KOH and at Pirate, they all have small lifts and big wheel wells to accomadate bigger tires.
