Hi friends.

I am new to the forum.I am sorry if I have posted in the wrong question.I have a 99 cherokee sport.I have installed in it K&N air filter,air aid tbs,msd ignition coil,power blast spark plug wires.

I am planning to install msd Digital Ignition control.My question is are this upgrades useful to the car?Is it waste of money.Some say leave the car parts original.

The digital ignition would be a waste of your money in my opinion. The TBS might sound neat (whistle) but that is about all. The other things that you installed are ok.

if you want power in the dunes, you need to build a stroker or swap in a new motor.

Things other that turbo:
--> COLD air intake- look into cowl style
--> Delete: A/C (tough thought in the desert..) and mechanical fan if you have one.
--> Hotter cam
--> Taller gears: you've got probably 3.07's or 3.55's. go to a 4.56, 4.88's if your don't care about speed..
--> What else.. You could do some more internal work: port/polish would help..

Easiest thing is an engine swap. Slam a v8 into it and be happy.. Good luck.
