Default Is there ANYTHING I can do for squeaky poly bushings?

These poly leaf bushings are about to drive me nuts. When I first put my lift on, I sprayed everything with lithium grease like the instructions said. That lasted 10 miles before they started squeaking. I tore everything back down and slathered on silicone grease. That lasted about 50 miles. Is my only other option just to pull out the poly bushings and install oem style rubber ones?

From rocking the jeep it sounds like its the rear squeaking. Might pick up some rubber bushings. Only $7 each

Wouldn't blame you at all for going to rubber if your going to tear her down again.

The poly's a good concept. Less likely to wear, but damn the ride is harsh and creaky. The old bushings was stock with 220k on them and they still wasn't horrible.

Had about 160K on my leaf springs when I replaced them. Bushing were fine but the springs were about done for.

I thought about spraying the ever living f..k out of them with something, but idk what wouldn't hurt them. Fluid film maybe?

Hmm. Just ran across some greaseable shackles. I may do that on mine. just drill a hole in the stock one and add a zerk.

edit. Nm brain fart. lol won't work. not the body end squeaking. haha. and I don't think drilling a hole in the leaf would be a good idea. lol

Silicone spray works fine. Otherwise use brake slide grease.
