Default Testimonials from XJ owners with 3" lift and 31" 10.50 tires?

I'm gonna order a set of Treadwright Guard Dogs, smallest size they come in is 31/10:50/15.

I'm running 30/9.50/15 BFG A/T's right now, get 0 rub (I also don't flex it out.. not yet at least) and Jegs D Windows with 3.75" backspacing.

So, for those with this same set up, do you get an rub in normal driving conditions at all?

i rub the lower control arm when turning left (not right for some reason) and other than that no rubbing. with your backspacing you should not have that issue.

I had to trim my bumper because I was rubbing on it on turns up small inclines sometimes (no swaybars). For the sake of wheeling, I wanted to anyways.

More or less. End caps and the bottom plastic part of the bumper is what I did. My rear fenders still rub on flex, so I'll cut and fold eventually. Here's what my front looks like though trimmed...

Look and see the actual height and width of your tire you want compared to the others not many are true 31s ,
But on my 3in series 2 from rough country I had no rub with Mickey mtzs and d windows they were also getting bald and when new I think only measured like 30.6 or something in height

Hope it sorta helped

I'm on the re super ride kit which settled more towards 3.75 and i rub when full lock left on my inner flare. 31x10.50's on 4 inch bs d windows. It'd only take 5 minutes with a cutting wheel to make them not rub at all.

Exact same here. I should adjust the limiter screw on the knuckle to eliminate the control arm rub during left turns.

Alright. I'm convinced. I just placed the order for some 31x10.50x15 TreadWright Guard Dogs

Should be here in 4 to 6 weeks.

On my 96 I currently am running a 2" spacer up front and extra leafs in the rear. (Got it with 6 leaf packs). Running 31 x 10.50s with no issues.

Accumulating parts for a 6.5" lift.
