Teraflex Teralow 4:1 T-Case Rebuild
So Im looking into rebuilding my T-case, it needs SYE so I figured while doing that, I should look into making my low gear worth a darn ha. This has really caught my eye http://www.teraflex.biz/low-231-hd-t...ort-input.html Seeing how my XJ sees DD use this would be great, I wouldnt have to go to an excessive final drive ratio and still be able to kill the trails And after a quick overview I will still need an SYE kit, correct?
Anyone know where'd be a good place to go to get this? Call me cheap but I dont really wanna drop 1300 on my T-case
And if anyone out there has any personal experience with this mod please feel free to chime in with all experiences and remarks.
If I end up with this purchase Ill be sure to post my build and reviews.

sometimes terraflex has them in the "scratch and dent" section for cheaper... usually its just cosmetic- other than that its always $$$

Also look for a used 241j Rubicon transfer case, they have a 4-1 ratio and are stronger than the 231j with the TeraFlex kit plus you will not need a SYE kit with it. I've seen them as low as $1600. But I will say I've only seen a couple for sale.

As for the 241j, Ive been trolling for a while now and not much luck "/ I would love to get ahold of one.
For now I guess Ill go with a SYE so I finally get my 8.8 in. Teraflex, or should I look elsewhere?
