tcase wont pop into 4wd

Default tcase wont pop into 4wd

so i just put in a new tcase, np231 with a sye along with long arms, new crossmember and other stuff... so problem im having is that i shift the tcase into 4hi and the part time light comes on but doesnt feel like its in 4wd... but then i go to put it in neutral and it feels like 2wd and i go to 4lo and nothing is happening... so any ideas what is going on?

Your shift linkage sounds waayyy out of adjustment.

How do I fix this.. Have any suggestions? And I've been reading about a cable shifter but don't know much about it

Haha ya I understand that... Have you heard anything about the cable shifter, cause what you Said early about everything being out of alignment with the shifter is exactly right haha!!! So I thought maybe this is an option
