TC that may promote more power to the wheels
Being that keeps have a fairly parasitic drive train are there any transfer cases used on an awd4 that promote more power to the wheels? Currently I have a 242 and love it so I'm just seeking knowledge.

The parasitic losses in a jeep are no worse than any other truck.
The auto trans is the biggest issue, not the tcase.

Keeping high quality, clean fluids in your drivetrain will help alleviate some of the losses to the wheels. Also cheaper and easier than swapping transfer cases.
