TC linkage bar too short
I started with a AX5 tranny with a NP207 TC. I replaced the NP207 with a NP231, so now I have an AX5 tranny with a NP231 TC.
Problem: Linkage bar that was with the AX5 and NP207 is too short and the Linkage bar I took off of the 91 cherokee with the np231 TC is too long. Through research I know there was a four cylinder jeep cherokee that came with the AX5 tranny and the NP231 TC. So Im thinking that model of jeep xj will have the right length linkage bar, but I'm thinking that madel is pretty rare since it had a whimpy 4 cylinder. Im thinking it might be easier to get an adjustable after market Linkage bar. Does anyone know of where I can get one? |

Off of a Cherokee or any other 4wd vehicle? That could take some time. I might pick up some tubing and do a chop and weld to one of the ones I already have.
