Is this TC drop too much?
PO installed this when I purchased the XJ, Its not the smoothest ride on the expressway(vibration wise), and was wondering if this is the problem. No Death Wobble.
Lift is 3" coil in front
ADD a LEAF in rear
LCAs
Shocks
31x10.5
and RC double stabilizer
That TC Drop is like 1.5-2"!!!!

Yea that seems a bit much. I have been running a 3 inch lift with a 1 inch drop and it was just fine. I then went to a custom long arm crossmember and it deleted the drop and still no issues with vibration. If you wheel a lot I could see that snagging up on objects. Just my 2 cents.

its a pavement pounder...DD. With a 2 year old at home wheeling is hard, but its nice to know I can go whenever I want. And snow!...roads? where we are going, we don't need roads.

I have a little 1 inch rustys tcase drop right now. I hate having the drop but till I can afford a SYE or a cross member with a built in drop im gonna keep it.

to much drop. it's putting alot of unnecessary strain on the motor mounts im sure. which is probably not helping with the vibrations. go 1" drop or sye. sye is always preferred but not necessary.

so you are saying that having a SYE eliminates the need for a TC drop? my rig has both. they were installed by the previous operator. don't know if they were done at the same time though.
