Default TB Spacer

Does a TB spacer cause a clearance issue with the hood closing?

On some if you have an aftermarket intake.

But the spacers are complete garbage anyway. So if it were me I wouldn't use it.

well I was picking up a bored one for my renix. It mentioned that you could add a spacer too it and it would do even better yet.

When I put one on mine it did but that was because I run a cai that sits up pretty high. It put a nice size inverted dent in my hood haha. But as gee mentioned they do nothing for fuel injected motors.

I got some K&N Stickers I can sell you. If you install them correctly they'll add 10hp each.

And I have some reinforcement paint too, you can hit it with a hammer. 25$ a can, spray your whole jeep in it and test it in a collision. it seriously works...

Mine makes the intake touch the hood fireproof material (not sure what to call it) but did not actually hit the hood.

These things have trouble keeping cool as is, why keep the heat in with insulation?

As for what said to add it on to the bored TB I misread it.
