Has anybody ever made taillights like this. My one question is turn signals. How does one make the brake light flash.? I'm probably gonna jump into this project in the next couple days but I figured I would test the waters and get some advice.

The ones that are pictured are part of a quarter panel armor made by either JCR Offroad or THOR offroad. Just in case you were wondering that as well.

The video that AndrewMP6 posted should tell you everything you need to know about the electronics portion of it though.
