Default Tail Lights with no yellow lens

1997 Jeep Cherokee XJ

Has anybody got any idea where I can find a set of tail lights that are all red all the way down except for the reverse light?

I've been looking all over but no one seems to know what I'm even talking about.

Thanks For Your Time,
Ron.

Below is a picture I edited to show y'all what I'm talking about.

Typically they are made out of stock lights with this paint.

Buddy of mine did this to his and it looks pretty good.

X2 on this. You won't get the orange out, but if you only paint over the orange you will get a nice dark translucent orange. Just don't go cray with it cause it will go black

Damn. There was a set of those red/clear tails on a Cherokee at the Pull-a-Part a while back. They sell the stock tails for $16 each. I should have bought those clear ones to sell to someone who wants to make his Jeep look ricey and get tickets.

No ticket if you have a yellow bulb.

True, but you know how many people who buy those things just keep using the white bulbs to the irritation of people stuck behind them.

(I'm putting clear side markers on my other car with amber bulbs, so I'm only half serious.)

Yeah, I've seen those but I figuring someone somewhere might have what I'm actually looking for, and if not I can get those along with that lens paint.

I would worry about screwing them up. That red lens tint should work over yellow just fine. I'd give that a go first on some stock housing. If you do screw it up, just wipe it off with paint thinner. That's what I did when I did lens tint (smoked them).
