Default Sye install thread?

I was curious if anyone knew of a thread that had a good detailed install of a SYE. the directions that came with it are pretty terrible.

This is one of my favorite NP231 SYE install threads. I believe you do have to be a member to see the pictures though... Sign up instantly activates your account.

Thanks a lot guys. I am using a Tom woods ds. I will use the thread and video. Hopefully it all goes smooth. What do you guys shim your axles with to point them up? This is my first one?

Degree shims, you can find them at your local 4x4 shop, or just google them, make sure you get steel ones. You'll need 2.5 inch wide by about 4 or 6 degrees.

I'll check aroun and see what I can find. We don't really have a 4x4 shop nearby. Thanks!

Here's a link to different degree shims. With 6inches of lift you will probably need 6 degree shims maybe 4.

Ok. I have 4.5 in the front and 6" in the rear. It has sagged enough that it is nearly level with the front now. I'll look into those shims. Thanks!
