Sye dumb question
Ok so u don't have to make fun if me cuzz I already know it's dumb, but, I've never had an sye with my other 2 rigs. They are pre 96 so I got away with just tcase drops. But my 99 will need one with an irO 5.5" long arm kit. So, yu dumb question is, do I absolutely need a new cv driveshaft/front DS, or can I get away with stock? Lol only thing I've dOne to the DS/tcase is change ujoints and fluid and grease the ujoints lol. Kinda new to modding the driveline(only 17 cut me a break )

If you do a SYE you will need a different drive shaft. Now you have a yoke that slides in and out of the t-case and a solid drive shaft. With a SYE there is no play at the t-case so the drive shaft needs a telescoping joint the allow axle movement.

Yea, I'm at 6.5" of lift with no SYE or vibrations. But long term the SYE in the garage will be installed for better wheeling!!!!
