I wanted to know sense I have a 2001 jeep xj if in matters if you have a 29 spline 8.25 axle if it matters on your ring and pinion gears if you have a 29 spline or a 27 because I can't find any that work with a 29 spine they all say 27 or nothing I'm wanting to put a locker and 4.56 gears thanks !!

I just installed 4.56 gears and ARB locker into my 01. Yes 29 spline is available. Although ARB might not be what you're looking for.

I know the locker has to be 29 slpine I'm just talking about the ring and pininon gear are they all universal for the 8.25 axle thanks

The ring and pinions are the same for the 27 or 29 spline version. I am considering swapping to 4.56 gears also and this website has the best deal I have found so far. http://rwkhaussupply.com/lift-gear-p...r-package.html
