Default Sun Roof won't close

2003 JEEP CHEROKEE Sport I opened the vent/tilt on the sunroof and it's now stuck in the tilt open position and I can't get it to close. Does anyone have any ideas?

It's called a Jeep Cherokee 2.4 Sport 2003.

Not a sound from the motor and we can't find the fuse, but it did open or should I say tilt.

This was taken today.

Here in the U.S. that Jeep is referred to as the 'Liberty KJ'. We do not have a section on this forum for the KJ. However I did find something to put you on the right track. If the following link does not help than I suggest joining that forum and posting the sunroof issue.
It seems that the KJ also had an option for a 'skyroof'

side note, the only flying pig I know of is from Pink Floyd's Animals.

Thanks very much for that, I'll check it out.

When the album Animals was released I went to see Floyd four nights running thanks to Harvey Goldsmith the promoter I had backstage passes and the place they played was in Stafford in the UK. The pig was inflated behind curtains and then they flew it over the audience. I was standing next to the pig as it was released. Four great nights of Floyd.

Check out the wiring. I've had problems with my aftermarket sunroof (surprise, surprise) and found my wiring was to blame.

It took my awhile to figure it out because there are two wires leading from the sunroof mechanism. I assumed them to be power and ground and could not figure out why it wouldn't work. Then it dawned on me that when I turn off the ignition the sunroof closes. It needs power when the ignition is off. The wires are switched positive and constant positive.

Just food for thought, not sure if it helps your situation. I've also had problems where the sunroof will "drop" to slide back under the roof but not slide back at all, getting stuck in the dropped position. I've always solved this by messing with the wiring. Just wiggling it or unhooking the constant positive then hooking it back up.

I've sorted the problem it was the switch, so I'll have to buy a new one. I also have to get a new battery tray as the current one has a massive crack on the retaining clamp side and some new struts for the hood. So I hope it's going to be sorted out shortly.
