why the hell arent they angled in? and in the metal being angled in, not how they are being pulled inward.

You didn't look into that before you bought them? Thats why i'm guessing their not angled, I could be wrong.
Now that Ive busted your *****, heres some advice, advice I've given my son as he seems to make the same mistake.
Do your homework and make sure 100% that what your ordering is going to work for your application. There is no substitute for homework. Fail to do so and end up with the wrong part, well thats no fun.
Theres a lesson in here somewhere.

no, it came with my lift so i figured it would work or else why would the company put them in their lift kit.

Damn bro, you did'nt say they came with it, now I feel like an a$$.
look at Teraflex discos, they run around a $100 and they work well.
I run em and my son has some on order. And their angled like you were asking

its all good. i might get those, or an angle set and do the homemade discos with clevis and cotter pins. depends how much i can get them for.
