stroker runs like poo
Im need a little help figuring out whats going on with my 99 XJ 4.7L i just built. Idels rough, and has no power, surges randomly at idle or not. Every once in a while every thing runs great for a few secs and i dont have any problems. Fuel pressure is good, timing is good, has 91 octane fuel, oil psi good, no vac leaks. I didnt know if has to have the computer reprogramed to readjust the injector pulse for the bigger the 24# injectors and readjust timing.

still stock tune. I havent done anything to the comp. I just built motor and put all my stock sensors back on and pluged in and hooked up everything.

then the computer might not beable to handle the stroker set up you put in there... you probably need to have it tuned...

Jeep PCM's cannot be reflashed with anything other than the original programming. they do not have an open architecture. The stock PCM is more than capable of processing the sensor inputs regurdless of the motor displacement.
stroker or stocker, the input/output remains the same.

Do you have a CEL on?
Have you connected an OBDII scanner yet?
