They make a harness that will plug into your jeep and have the wiring there for you to splice into the new head unit with out cutting up your stock wiring. You can buy it at best buy and probably many other places. I buy everything from crutchfied.com. I wouldn't recommend cutting up your stock wiring. At least head to the closest audio store or electronics store and pic up the harness I mentioned. It will have all the same or close to the same colors as your new head units wiring. Makes life easier.

I can't tell for sure, but it looks like someone hacked out your stock stereo harness and used male/female clips. If you could snap a few more pics of the wiring i could tell you 100% what to do..

looks like someone dyked off the stock connector and installed the one that came with their aftermarket head unit. you will need to cut theirs off and install yours.

Tried doing this today. Didn't go well. My suggestion is that you be smarter then me. Cut and connect each wire one at a time.

I gave up and am going to the junk yard to hack the stock connector off of another Jeep so I can just buy the adapter.

Also from what the new unit says it has all the exact same wires that are already coming from the dash..Im thinking its just a process of pulling them one at a time from existing harness and wiring them into the new one and put a little electric tape over them. Ive looked everywhere for a new harness...no luck.
