Steering wheel doesn't return to center on its own after turn

1996 country 31s with no lift in the front, replaced oem track bar with HD adjustable bar, and hd steering stabilizer, now I have symptoms of memory steer, any chance the upgraded steering stabilizer is too strong causing this problem? I haven't made any adjustments to the steering box. Power steering pump seems to be working fine, put in new lines and did a flush of the fluid.

My understanding is that the wheels return to center because of caster, which shouldn't have changed by replacing a track bar. You can change caster by adjusting upper and lower control arms, but I don't think yours are adjustable (if they are stock). You can always disconnect the stabalizer and drive around and see if your wheels recenter.

I'm assuming it was wondering around before the stabalizer ws put on.

Yes the first reply nailed it. Castor is wht causes the wheel to return to center and wht pays major role in holding a straight line without wonderiwondering

Stabalizer wont fix anything. Rig may need some TLC ball joints steering joints control arm joints etc. Then an alignment
