Just bought my new xj toy, but am not sure what steering and suspension its running up front and I need to replace the outer tie rod but don't know what the tie rod is to be able to match the tie rod that fits! Can't pass inspection till I get it fixed! It's all that's holding me back! So here's a pic maybe someone knows r recognizes what it's got on it so I can figure this out! Old owner has no clue!
Could be a 1 ton conversion or a yj conversion also, I know it has the rubicon express 5 1/2 inch lift on it but raises that all unknown, I'm more focused on what tie rod is on it!

Also my third brake light is out, both rear brake lights work fuse is good, all 3 are on the same fuse right? To me it's weird that only the 3rd brake light doesn't work! Any ideas r suggestions on where to check for wire pinch or shorts?

any idea on what front axle that might be? dana 35 right?

Its gonna be the otk steeri.g set up prolly remove the bad tie rod take it to.the auto parts store an get a new one an ur front axles gonna be a dana 30 betcha auto parts store can match that tie rod

That is not OTK. Looks to be standard one ton gm stuff if I had to guess. bring the tie rod with you and have them look up an early 80's chevy 3500 tie rod and compare.

Looks like YJ steering and not one ton stuff. Take the rod end to a parts store and do some compairing.
