Default steering box spacer info

Okay guys im looking to fab my own steering box spacer like c rok has made.....lm trying to find the spacing required heres a picture of the piece i have left

Lol got tons of these, recently ive left the spacer out and my box is chilling in its place better

all you have to do is measure it !! then make your new one just as thick or if you go to a durango box you have to make it a little thicker when i made mine i used 3/16" plate and 1" 1/4 wall dom for the spacers Name:  IMG00226-20110603-1449.jpg

Just throw the stock one on a piece of steel and mark the holes. I made one by welding a stack of the correct size washers onto a sheet of 1/4 steel.

Because the frame rail is flat and the steering box is curved, hence the spacer to even it out so it can mount.
