It's all one contained unit but the highbeams are normal lights and the lowbeams are HIDs

I just seen this thread. I'm having the same issue for the headlamps. Thought they were cool because of the halo rings on them and got them in eBay. Around 90$, Came with hid kit. Ever since I installed it I've had to replace the pcm(not a sure of that's related) and when I used them it will start losing power and running like crap. Just wondering if you removed them and this fixed the issue or what you found was the problem

My alternator is on its way out, which is probably the cause of my highbeams screwing with the power. I had a lightbar wired up as well before but once I took that off it hasn't stalled or idled bad since. It now just cuts out my subwoofer for a few seconds when I kick on the lights. I'm gonna try a new alt. here soon then I'll update this.

All my lights are led so they shouldn't mess with the power as bad, led light bar and fog lights. The headlights however are the eBay hid kit. Looking into changing to led headlamps hopefully to fix the lose if power and surging. This never started till I installed these headlights.

You have checked your battery cables out and made sure they and the terminals are clean. How old is the battery. And FYi, even though the HIDs are 55w, the starting wattage is much higher for everything to ignite. The 55w is the running wattage when everything is "settled" in
