Stabbed tire!!! Offroad only tubed spare???
I had a really good tire get slashed.
I wanna put a tube in it and use it as an off road only, low psi spare.
What do you guys think???

I would tube it rather than plug it.. reason being, all plugs leak. Slowly, but still. It would suck if the spare was flat should you end up needing to use it.
Plus, I assume you could run a tubed tire on the street with caution if you had to limp it home from the trail.. someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Patch the inside and put a tube in it. DO NOT USE ON THE STREET! If you don't patch the inside the tube will get pinched by the hole in the tire.

What is vuclinized?
Look how far from the side wall it is. It'd be offroad (limp home) only.
I'm crurrntly no spare. My ***** *** crazy ex did it. Luckily its just one. And also jegs had them instock.
$205 each. Plus tax = $225 out the door. $20 mount no balance. Never needed to. I put all for on b4 no balance and I ad been wearing just fine. Just run a low psi to touch as much tread to pavement.
So currently
60%+ tread on the FR,FL and RR and brand new %100 on RL. Open diff's.
Figure no problem.
Might look around at steve's used tires and other used tire places for a decent 33x12.5x15 spare with no puncture for cheap instead but if its cheap an reliable to get a good patch job, super glue the **** out of it and tube it at low psi, offroad only/Limp home I'll do that.
Keep in mind I have no current spare.
Can I use a 32x125x15 on my jeep as a spare with open diffs in 4-lo and 4-hi????
