Spratan Locker Play
Hey guys. i just installed a Spartan Locker in my Chrysler 8.25 - 27 spline, please have a look at the attached video.
at the beginning, i am trying to show how much "added" back lash i seem to have got. the carrier is to spec but you will see how much the pins move with-in their "seats"
also, my main concern, notice how easily the locker releases and how light i am turning the wheel. i imagine one wheel in a ditch and the other spinning in the air because it can slip so easily....
question, from what you guys can see here, does this look normal? does anyone no of any better ways to test it before i button everything back up?
thanks.

The locker works from the carrier moving the main pin which puts pressure on the teeth that turn the axle.
The worry would be not enough gap and the tires not releasing.
I would not worry about it at all. It looks fine and you said it was per spec. The cut outs for the pins on the opposite sides are just a little larger than the pins. So you will get alittle movement.
