considering a bb, and am wondering how articulation would be off road. i was told that i wont get full tilt with a spacer verses a lift spring

if you're going through all the work to get the coils off the front to put in the spacers, why dont u just spend the $100 on new lifted coils. i got my 3.5" coils from rustys for $90 shipped. I am putting 2" pucks on top of those later but thats beside the point

That's exactly what I did, only I got 3" coils, and a 1.5" spacer. I see no issue as far as flexing and articulation. I think the only way you could possibly see less articulation would be, as stated above, with the stock coils.

in front spacers and stock springs will flex just as much as lift springs.
flex depends more on the other components in your front suspension.
in the rear you would be better off with a shackle lift for the most flex granted your shocks are long enough, but they will likely wear out your old, stock leaf packs a little quicker.
STAY AWAY FROM BLOCK LIFTS

I would like to show you how we tested this. At my buddy's shop in a coil comperssor we tried the block vs spring and just spring setup. We compressed both as far as we could. We had a 6" bds spring, and a 3" spring and 3" spacer, the 6" spring compressed much smoother and farther than the spring/spacer setup. By about 4" if I remember correct.

And a spacer is just dead space that doesn't compress, I agree there are many other limiting factors to flex. But as far as the two being tested against each other, spring is better.

I got my re 4.5 springs for 100 from Alden in the vendor section and I have 1.5 spacer to compensate for my bumper... the springs are so worth it... but your stock steering will limit your flex alot
