Snorkel ideas
I already have a 1993 XJ and I'm about to buy a 96 I believe is what it is. Now depending on which one my fiancée chooses to drive, the other one will be my DD/playtoy, so I'm kinda wanting to put a snorkel on it and get some better wiring on the engine. But I want a home made snorkel that still looks good, because I don't have the money to buy a factory made one. So any ideas on what kinda supplies should I make it out of, and how to seal it up good?

The snorkel is just a very small part of having one ready to go in very deep water over tire height. Even then other issues arise, a lot of them if you plan on coming out on the other side under your own power that is.
If your planning on a Mall Crawler then anything will do. |
I don't know anything about snorkels, but I thought this was pretty cool.

I have aways liked Matts videos.

Yeah. It's not gonna be just a mall crawler. Because down here where I love I'm close to a river and a swamp, and they overflow really often. I took my 93 thru it when the water was halfway up the door but I was worried about my air intake the whole time.

And this one that I'm picking up today used to have a snorkel, but the guy took it back off. All the beefed up wiring is still on there tho, so that's one less thing I have to worry about.
