You'd be better off getting this snorkel than that one.

I bought a E-Bay snorkel and the quality was decent. The main thing is my air/fuel went from 12.0 to 12.7 at WOT so they do flow more air when you are moving.

I would rather do a snorkel. Puts your intake higher up. I know the rest of the engine isn't exactly sealed but peace of mind with it being higher up

If you get anywhere near the dash inside your dead in the water anyway so a cowl intake works fine for me. Plus I hate sitting on wet seats and the wet moldy smell you can get afterwards.

I do go across a lot of water crossings creeks and rivers but do pick them well as I hate winching myself out when the engine dies.

These are needed in Australia and Africa more than any other because of dirty conditions (up high) as well as water.
